The Forgotten People of Kanha

We are all deeply proud of the efforts to save the Royal Bengal Tiger from the brink of extinction. But often forgotten are the sacrifices behind this conservation success story. The people of Kanha, who belong to the Gond and Baiga tribes, were relocated, forcing them to leave their homes and land for the conservation of this iconic felid. Find out how a not-for-profit organisation is working to empower these forgotten communities

Earth Focus

Vipul Gupta founded Earth Focus to create a Kanha landscape where people and nature thrive together. The organisation aims to restore ecosystems and create sustainable livelihoods for the forest-dwelling communities of Kanha by providing education and creating nature-based livelihoods

How can you help?

Over 70% of the proceeds from your ride will be used to help 150 indigenous families! The Gond and Baiga communities of Kanha need your support as they regenerate the fallow land that was once their source of livelihood and sustenance. Help them rebuild their land and generate sustainable income through agriculture
