'Sunrise at Land's End' spans 4 nights and 3 days, with ~160 km of riding. We start with the descent down from the western ghats of Kerala to the Tamil Nandu plains. We then make our way to the Chettinad region which is known for its unique architecture and delectable cuisine, both of which you will experience as authentically as possible on this tour. This is the real stuff, not the "Chettinad restaurant" cuisine that's bandied about every which way across the country. The ride on the last day of the tour will take you over the picturesque Pamban bridge and onto a tiny strip of land wedged between ocean waters, that goes all the way to Land's End in Dhanushkodi. This is the closest point between India and Srilanka, located just a few kilometres from the island nation.
'Sunrise at Land's End' is segment 3 of our unique 3-segment itinerary in Dec'22, coursing through the breadth of southern India from Allepey in the West to Dhanushkodi in the East. This coast-to-coast epic journey presents south India in its many hues, cultures, landscapes and diverse, intriguing history. The itinerary includes cycling, trekking, camping, wildlife spotting and visits to various cultural and historical sights, providing an immersive and untainted experience that the discerning traveller will appreciate. Expect an experience of a lifetime!
