Dal Lake & Srinagar

DAY 1: Dal Lake & Srinagar

Arrive in Srinagar, cruise Dal Lake by shikara and explore the Mughal gardens, before heading south through saffron country to our riverside resort - a picturesque setting that will serve as your basecamp for the tour.

Forest & Valley Roads

DAY 2: Forest & Valley Roads

Ride on quiet roads and orchard country, before heading to the forested hills around Sandoz. The return leg includes a steepish climb to a hilltop. Ride Distance: 46 km, Elevation Gain: 580 m

Aru & Betaab Valleys

DAY 3: Aru & Betaab Valleys

A full day in the Lidder Valley: climb through Pahalgam to the high meadows of Aru, descend, then ride the other fork to Betaab Valley before returning beside the river.Ride Distance: 73 km, Elevation Gain: 971 m

SHAJAN TOP

DAY 4: Shajan Top

Ride out across the open valley floor to Anantnag, then take on a long, steady climb through forests to Shajan Top. The return to base is by vehicle. Ride Distance: 72 km, Elevation Gain: 713 m

The Pir Panjal Queen Stage

DAY 5: The Pir Panjal Queen Stage

Take on the tour's defining day: a long climb to Banihal Pass at 2,830 m, then a fast descent towards the Jawahar Tunnel. This is a climber's day for sure! Ride Distance: 50 km, Elevation Gain: 1600 m

Martand & Mughal Kashmir

DAY 6: Martand & Mughal Kashmir

Ride through Kashmir's living history: the 8th-century Martand Sun Temple, Achabal's Mughal gardens, an ancient spring and village roads by the Lidder. Ride Distance: 57 km, Elevation Gain: 539 m

Jade River Resort, Kashmir

Day 7: Departure

Relax at the homestay and soak in its surrounding beauty one last time with breakfast by the river. Reminisce with your new friends about the enchanting lands you journeyed.

The ride to Banihal Pass is the one you will talk about long after the trip ends. It is a full Himalayan day: sustained climbing, expansive views across the Pir Panjal and a thrilling descent to the Jawahar Tunnel.
