Your breaks will also include chatting with locals over tea and coffee at the Thaishola Canteen, and enjoying a picnic lunch at a scenic location. Keep an eye out for native wildlife such as the Gaur, monkeys, Sloth bears, and the Barking Deer that frequent these hillsides, as the trail borders a national park. You may get a glimpse of the local Irula tribe going about their daily life while passing through their hamlet. Upon reaching the distinctly-shaped summit of Sengottaraayar Malai, take in uninterrupted views the Nilgiri Mountains, sometimes shrouded by clouds! Head back down reminiscing your journey over the past three days, and return home.
