About the facilitators:
Sriram Aravamudan, founder of Bangalore Local Walks, is a business strategist by profession, and a writer and musician by passion. After a decade-long career in IT, he co-founded an urban gardening startup based in the city, and authored a weekly gardening column in The Bangalore Mirror for over 5 years. He has also authored numerous other pieces on food, music, humour and the environment in various print and online publications. His writing background and a keen interest in the city's local history and botanical wealth got him started on his journey with his walking tours company, Bangalore Local Walks, in 2022. Each of his walks aims to provide a deep dive into various phases of Bangalore's vibrant history, culture and plant wealth.
Dheeraj Subramanian and Poojya Basavaraj, founders of Pedal In Tandem, are a Bangalore-based couple who are passionate about bicycle travel.
