My first experience with Pedal In Tandem along with my elder daughter. We took part in this Devanahalli Heritage Tour on 12th July 2026 and opted for rented cycles to be delivered at the meeting point. We were also allowed to check and choose the bikes before hand from their hq at Indiranagar and we did that too.
Now coming to the experience. It was definitely a wow feeling from the beginning till the end. They came with enough staff to always be there for each of the participants' queries and support. We checked our bikes before the start. The name "Pedal In Tandem" perfectly matches with what the PIT team did right from planning till completion of the whole event - everything was in tandem.
What I liked most about the whole event is that the organizer's sincere commitment to a litter free, zero plastic event completely. Their instructions to follow the traffic rules and how to organize ourselves while cycling, while crossing over highways all are highly commendable. No junk refreshments. All healthy items like granola bars.
Wonderful bikes. Not even a single participant had an issue, We cycled on proper roads, mud roads, gutters. Never it complained. It was a smooth ride through out.
The whole PIT team led by Poojya along with our dynamic passionate story teller Srirram Aravamudan are so caring, highly professional and well organized. The whole event was meticulously planned and executed.
Coming to the Devanagiri heritage ride, I should say every bengalurian should experience this first hand to understand such a historically significant, picturesque place is just adjacent to busy, concretized - bengaluru. The fort, the temple, the lake, the village trail, the beautiful button roses, sunflowers and other blossoming flowers, guava plantations, vegetable plantations along the route gave such a "(william) wordsworth" like feeling but only to not find words worthy enough to describe that blissful moments.
Beautiful 2 cute railway stations had a much bigger history which we came to know only when Sriram described their significance during the erst while East India Company period.
The best moment was European meadow adjacent to a lake where we stopped over for a sumptuous authentic kannadiga breakfast. The meadows was vast, lush green with cattle grazing. What else to ask for to treat our senses to the beauty of nature.
This feedback was long time due. I could only do 50% justice to what an enthralling experience we had during this ride.
I am looking forward for my next ride with them.
